Sponsor Spotlight - Socius

March 19, 2016
As the Ohio Machine prepares for the 2014 season, it welcomes back previous sponsors including Socius, an internationally recognized business consulting firm. Socius, the official technology solutions provider of the Machine, is an Ohio-based company that provides business consulting services in the area of technology solutions for growing businesses and organizations.

Socius first joined the Machine last season and was initially excited about adding another professional sports team to their clientele. Ken Ledyard, Socius’ marketing director, said that partnering with the Machine last season opened up new opportunities to share their story and services with a new demographic.

“We decided to continue the sponsorship because we found it to be a great value,” Ledyard said.  “It enabled us to connect with other local organizations while simultaneously raising our brand awareness. We saw a notable increase in website traffic that was driven from the Ohio Machine website, demonstrating to us that the combined efforts of our game-day awareness and online alignment was having an impact and piquing the curiosity of Machine fans.”

Last season, Socius helped contribute to the Machine fan experience by connecting with the fans and giving away Xbox 360’s at home games. Socius hopes to continue their in-game promotions and fan relationships to increase their brand awareness in the community and strengthen their relationship with the Machine. Ledyard and the rest of the Socius staff are looking forward to another season getting involved with the fans and reaching out to the public as a Machine partner.

“Socius continues to be one of our biggest advocates in the Ohio community,” said Machine President and General Manager John Algie. “We are excited to continue our partnership to not only grow both of our businesses but also bring some exciting new additions to our game day atmosphere for our fans next season.”

“In the 2014 season, we are looking forward to continually growing our partnership with the Machine’s front office staff,” said Ledyard.  “Additionally, we are excited to participate in the Fan Experience and watch the development of the talented new players that the Machine has added to the roster deliver wins on game day!”

Season tickets for the Machine’s 2014 season are on sale and range from General Admission at $92 to a Field Level Box at $2,400 and include seven regular season home games plus a 2014 MLL playoff game. Information on 2014 season tickets can be found at www.theohiomachine.com/season-tickets.
