#Sheentime with Jackson Place

February 15, 2017
“I’m not worried about the years. I’m worried about the life and the body of work that I can put out while I’m breathing.”

Believe it or not but that is a straight, Kanye West quote from a Vanity Fair interview. That’s borderline profound, right? (Granted the quote was followed by “Sweatshirts are important”—that’s more like the Kanye we know and love).

But that first statement spoke to us at the Ohio Machine... because despite our obviously immense similarities to Kanye, we differ here.

It seems like throughout our work and our team atmosphere, we are constantly worrying about the years.. planning, setting goals, wondering how we can do more and be better in the shortest amount of time possible.

Last year we spent the summer adventuring, traveling throughout the United States playing all our MLL opponents, we traveled to Minnesota to compete in the Semi-Championships, beating the Charlotte Hounds and then ventured on to Atlanta where we lost in monsoon, back and forth battle with the MLL Champions the Denver Outlaws.

And as memorable and wonderful as that was, we momentarily forgot the joy of lacrosse. The joy and the joy that the lacrosse has to offer the world.

But thanks to all our wonderful Sheens, we reconnect with our lacrosse fundamentals, every Wednesday as the lastest #sheentime is posted!

So now we invite you to hop the A train to Brooklyn and spend some time with our very own Jackson Place.
