Sheen Time Valentine's Day Part One: Olivia Pfister

February 14, 2018

In honor of Valentine's Day, we've spoken to a few of the players' wives, and got the inside scoop on their relationship stories, and what it's like having a professional athlete as a husband. First up is Olivia Pfister, wife of Machine midfielder Tyler Pfister.

1. How did you and Tyler meet?
Tyler and I met in high school when we were 16 at a young life club. We started dating a couple months later.

2. Where did you two go on your first date?
On our first date we went out to lunch at Champps, a local restaurant.

3. How did Tyler propose?
It was a day full of amazing surprises. He had my sisters surprise me at my apartment and take me to get my hair done. While at the hair salon, three of my best friends showed up to get me (two that had flown in from out of town) and we went to a nice boutique where he had paid for me to buy a new outfit. After that, the three of them and myself went to my apartment and they helped me get ready. Then they drove me to where I finally got to see Tyler! We walked along the river down town (in the rain) where he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!

4. What are your thoughts on having a husband who is a professional athlete?
It’s such a privilege to watch Tyler play the game he loves professionally. I enjoy traveling with him when I have the opportunity and it definitely keeps us busy!
