Ohio Machine Out and About in Columbus

The Ohio Machine will be out and about this weekend at many local Columbus events! Its first stop is at the AAA Great Vacations EXPO at the Veterans Memorial on Friday, Jan. 20, from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

People who visit the Machine’s booth at the EXPO on Friday and Saturday will have a chance to enter into a raffle where they could win a Brett Hughes autographed Machine hat or tickets to the Machine home opener on May 19. People in attendance on Saturday will also have a chance to meet two of the Machine’s local players, Matt Cafarelli and Brady Williams, and receive autographs from them between 2 – 4 p.m. at the Machine’s booth. Also on Saturday, the Machine will be at the Boy Scouts of America Simon Kenton Council’s 2012 University of Scouting event at Pickerington North High School from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Click here for more details.

To finish out the weekend, the Machine will be joining Ohio State University Medical Center for “OSU Sports Medicine – It’s Not Just for Athletes” on Sunday, Jan. 22, from 1-4 p.m. at The Martha Morehouse Pavilion (2050 Kenny Road). Get valuable health and fitness tips from their Sports Medicine team during breakout sessions on nutrition, performing arts medicine, injury prevention, athletic performance and more.
