May 19th Game Day Festivities

Looking for some fun things to do before the game begins on Saturday? Look no further than the historic downtown Delaware area! 

From May 19-20, downtown Delaware will be celebrating the high quality arts and crafts from vendors all around the country from Ohio to Kentucky to Florida to Maryland during the 39th Delaware Arts Festival. 

Items on display will include ceramics, leather, paintings, sculpture, stained glass, folk art, clothing and fiber art, jewelry and so much more. Fans can also enjoy the countrywide student art show that will be on display in the Delaware County District Library (84 E. Winter Street) or the art auction featuring items donated by the actual festival vendors. 

And did you know that money from the Delaware Arts Festival funds scholarships given annually to Delaware County residents who intend to pursue an art-related major in college? Awards and grants are also give to schools and community organization for arts activity and instruction.

After enjoying the amazing talent of the festival vendors, stop by Amato's Woodfired Pizza to enjoy the game day atmosphere during "Party on the Patio." Starting at 2 p.m., Machine fans can hang out downtown and enjoy the festivities with drink and food specials exclusively for Ohio Machine ticket holders.
