The Ohio Machine President and General Manager John Algie announced today the hiring of Rachel Csonka and Kiel Rostorfer as ticket sales managers. Csonka and Rostorfer will oversee season ticket sales and service for the Machine’s inaugural season, as well as assist in the planning and execution of group ticket orders, individual game ticket orders and Machine-related events surrounding ticket sales.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rachel and Kiel to the Ohio Machine,” said Algie. “They both bring great energy and enthusiasm to the front office as well as a strong passion for sports, making them valuable additions to the team as we head into our inaugural season.”
Before joining the Machine, Csonka worked for the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Club and the Toledo Walleye Hockey Club. With both teams she worked in the merchandise department where she supervised employees, assisted in the design and purchase of products, and oversaw customer service. Csonka is a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
Rostorfer, a Columbus native, joined the Ohio Machine after recently graduating from The Ohio State University with his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing. During his four years at OSU, Rostorfer worked with Game Day Management Group as an intern assisting in customer service and fan hospitality at several sporting events including the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, 2010 and 2011 Super Bowls, the 2010 Daytona 500 and several college bowl games in Florida.
