The Ohio Machine, Ohio’s Major League Lacrosse (MLL) team, has acquired Chesapeake’s first round pick in the 2015 Supplemental Draft and second round pick in the 2015 Collegiate Draft in exchange for midfielder Stephen Peyser, the team announced today.
“Between the most recent Supplemental and Collegiate Drafts, we were able to build considerable depth at the midfield position,” said President and General Manager John Algie. “This allowed us the flexibility to move Peyser and bank some significant value that will help us moving forward.”
The Machine originally acquired Peyser in November 2013 via a trade with New York.
This past week, the Machine added eight players to its roster at the MLL Collegiate Draft, including Tom Schreiber, the first overall pick of the draft. Schreiber and fellow draftees Rob Guida and Scott Loy join Kevin Cooper (trade with Chesapeake) and Bill McGlone (Supplemental Draft) in the Machine’s revamped midfield line in 2014.
Season tickets for the Machine’s 2014 season are on sale and range from General Admission at $92 to a Field Level Box at $2,400 and include seven regular season home games plus a 2014 MLL playoff game. Information on 2014 season tickets can be found at
