The Ohio Machine welcomes back numerous sponsors from 2012 for the Machine’s sophomore season, including Official Team Dentist Green Dental with Dr. Robert E. Green and Dr. James Pawlecki. Entering into the second season as a partner, Green Dental was one of the first to become part of the Machine family during its inaugural season because of their commitment to the community that has served them for more than 20 years. That continued support for the Delaware community led to Dr. Green joining the Machine for its second season.
“We couldn’t be happier to partner with the Machine for another season. Our partnership with the Machine has had such a positive impact and we have taken a lot of pride in being a part of the Machine family and have been welcomed fully. We can’t wait to continue this partnership in many years to come,” said Dr. Green.
As part of the partnership with the Machine, Green Dental will be hosting a number of charitable military organizations at every home game in the “Smile Zone.” The “Smile Zone” will be located in Section B at Selby Stadium and Green Dentals’ special guests will be honored during each game in various ways by the Machine.
“We are really excited to have this opportunity with the Machine to offer the ‘Smile Zone’ to military personnel and their families,” said Dr. Green. “We wanted to give back to the community that has served us for more than 20 years and couldn’t think of a better way to treat them than to the newest pro sports team in Ohio!”
Besides sponsoring the “Smile Zone”, Dr. Green and his associate Dr. Pawlecki serve as the Machine’s Official Team Dentists. As the team dentists, Dr. Green and Dr. Pawlecki provide general care to the players, as well as specialized treatment for lacrosse-specific needs including custom-made mouthpieces for each player.
“Green Dental provided exceptional service to all of our players and staff during our first season and we look forward to continuing our partnership,” said Machine General Manager and President John Algie. “The introduction of the ‘Smile Zone’ this season will be a very positive addition to the community.”
But Dr. Green and Dr. Pawlecki also see the benefit of the Machine settling in the Delaware area for not only their business but for the community and can see the progress the team has made on and off the field over the past year.
“I believe the Machine will be even more successful this year on and off the field,” said Dr. Green. “You could see the team coming together on the field throughout the season last year and I believe the Machine will be putting a lot more tallies in the win column this year. I can’t wait for the season to start again to feel that energy from the fans at all of the games. It was very cool to see the stands full with fans from the Delaware and Columbus communities – making Delaware a must-see destination.”
