Machine Partners with SportsTime Ohio

The Ohio Machine announced today a partnership with SportsTime Ohio (STO). STO will broadcast 12 of the Machine’s 14 games, home and away, throughout the 2012 season. The Machine’s remaining two games will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.

“Bringing our brand of professional lacrosse to households all over Ohio is an important part of our mission to foster the growth of the sport,” said Machine President and General Manager John Algie. “We’re pleased to partner with such a widely-viewed staple of Ohio sports television.”

STO will broadcast three of the Machine’s home games live, including the inaugural season home opener on May 19 and the contests on June 9 against the Denver Outlaws and July 14 against the Hamilton Nationals. STO will also rebroadcast all 12 games throughout each week following the original broadcasts.

“STO is looking forward to growing the already popular sport of lacrosse with the Ohio Machine,” said STO Vice President of Programming and Executive Producer Pat Kilkenney.

STO, a regional sports network launched in 2006, is home of MLB’s Cleveland Indians, cable home of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, the Mid-American Conference, OHSAA Championships and now MLL’s Ohio Machine.

Season tickets starting at only $100 and three-game mini plans at $45 for the Machine’s 2012 inaugural season are now on sale. Single-game tickets to the historic May 19 home opener are also on sale for just $18, with group discounts available as well.
