2012 MLL Season:
Chazz Woodson was only one of four players who played in 14 games in 2012 and scored two goals against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/5). In his first game against the Charlotte Hounds (5/12), Woodson registered his first hat-trick of the season. In the inaugural home opener against the Rochester Rattlers (5/19), Woodson dazzled the home crowd by scoring four goals and was named the Bud Light Player of the Game. Against the Long Island Lizards (6/1) Woodson recorded his first assist of the season and tallied two more goals. Woodson tallied a season high two assists against the Denver Outlaws (6/9), including his first power play assist of the year. Woodson scored one goal and one assist against the Lizards (6/16) and had scored in all games up to that point. Woodson scored two more goals against the Hounds (6/23) to tie his career high in goals with 16. In the 2012 MLL All-Star Game (6/30), Woodson scored one goal and picked up two groundballs. In his second game against the Outlaws (7/4), Woodson scored his 17th goal of the season. In the first game of a home-at-home against the Hamilton Nationals (7/13), Woodson tied his career high for assists in a game with four. In the team's second game against the Nationals (7/14), Woodson scored one goal and increased his career high to 18 goals on the season. Woodson picked up another two assists against the Bayhawks (7/21). Woodson set his career high for points in a game against the Rattlers (7/28) with five goals and one assist. Against his former team, the Boston Cannons (8/4), Woodson scored one goal and recorded one assist. A week later, against the Boston Cannons (8/11), Woodson tallied one assist to extend his point streak to 14 games. Woodson finished first on the team for points (38) and second for goals (24) and assists (14).
2013 MLL Season:
Chazz Woodson scored his first goal of the 2013 season against the Denver Outlaws (5/4) in the season home opener. Woodson tallied five groundballs against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/11). Woodson scored two goals against the New York Lizards (5/18).
Chazz Woodson, a two-time MLL All-Star, enters into his eighth MLL season and second with the Machine after playing for Long Island, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago. In seven seasons, Woodson has played in 61 games and tallied 87 goals and 39 assists for a combined 126 points. Woodson was drafted in the 2005 MLL Collegiate Draft by Long Island after playing for Brown University from 2002 to 2005. Woodson played all four seasons with Brown and was named a two-time All-Ivy League and two-time All-New England selection. Woodson most recently was named to Brown's 2000-2009 All-Decade team.
