2012 MLL Season:
Connor Martin was one of the only four Machine players that played in 14 games in 2012. He tied his career high in points with five in the second game of the season against the Charlotte Hounds (5/12). Martin had his second multi-point game of the season when he had three points (2G 1A) against the Rochester Rattlers (5/19). In the game against the Lizards (6/1), Martin scored a season high four goals. Martin tallied his tenth goal of the season and also tied his career goals high in the game against Denver (6/4). Connor surpassed his career high for goals in a season a week later when he scored one goal against the Lizards (6/16). Against the Hounds (6/23), Martin scored one goal and one assist to increase his point streak to six games. Martin kept his point streak alive against the Outlaws (7/4), when he scored his 13th goal of the season. In the team's second game against the Hamilton Nationals (7/14), Martin scored two goals on only five shots. Martin scored his first career two-point goal against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (7/21). Martin scored his second two-point goal of his career the following week against the Rattlers (7/28). Martin also had his third hat-trick of the season in that game. Against the Boston Cannons (8/4), Martin had his sixth multi-goal game of the season with two goals and a week later (8/11), scored two more goals and had an assist. Martin tied seccond on the team in 2012 for points (32) and third for goals (24) and assists (7).
2013 MLL Season:
Connor Martin played in the second game of the season against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/11).
Connor Martin began making a name for himself at Chapman University in California, where he finished his college career with 168 goals and 86 assists, totaling 254 points in 63 games. He earned several honors including First Team All-American as a junior and senior, and was also named MCLA Player of the Year his junior year. He assisted his team to back-to-back MCLA Championship appearances. After Chapman, Martin was the only field player from a MCLA school to be drafted and see playing time in MLL, where he played for the Denver Outlaws his rookie season. While with Denver, Martin scored 13 goals and recorded four assists including a hat trick and one assist in his MLL debut earning him the MLL Rookie of the Week.
