2012 MLL Season:
Ray Megill played in 13 games for the Machine and scored his first goal of the season in the second game of the season against the Charlotte Hounds (5/12). Megill picked up his first assist of the season in the team's inaugural home opener against the Rochester Rattlers (5/19). Megill scored a career high two goals against the Lizards (6/16) followed by his first two-point goal of the season and second of his career against the Hounds (6/23). In the team's second game against the Hamilton Nationals (7/14), Megill scored his fifth goal of the season. Megill received the Machine's Unsung Hero award.
2013 MLL Season:
Ray Megill tallied one groundball against the Denver Outlaws (5/4) in the season home opener. Megill tallied one groundball against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/11). Megill tallied one goal, one groundball and went 0-2 in face-offs against the New York Lizards (5/18).
Ray Megill joins the Machine after playing the past five seasons for Boston (2007-2009) and Chesapeake (2010-2011). Megill played for the University of Maryland for all four seasons. Megill was a first found draft pick by Boston in 2007. He was named Cannon's Rookie of the Year the same year and was named a MLL All-Star in 2009 while with the Cannons. Megill helped the bayhawks to a win for the 2012 MLL Championship in his first year with the team. As a Terp, Megill was named 2007 Second-Team All-American, 2007 Preseason First Team All-American, 2006 USILA Third Team All-American, 2006 All-ACC, 2006 Preseason Honorable Mention All-America, 2005 USILA Honorable Mention All-American and 2005 ACC All-Tournament Team.
