Tied for the team lead with 50 points. Third in MLL with 35 goals. Only Machine player to appear in all 14 regular season games. Named Machine’s 2014 Breakout Player of the Year. Scored three goals and had one assist at Charlotte (2/26). Scored one goal and had one assist at Denver (5/4). Tallied three goals at Florida (5/10). Rang in three goals and one assist against New York (5/17). Scored three goals and picked up two groundballs at Chesapeake (5/31). Tallied one goal against Boston (6/6). Had five goals and one assist against Rochester (6/14). Scored two goals and picked up a groundball at Boston (6/21). Had five goals and three groundballs at New York (6/28). Tallied two goals and an assist against Chesapeake (7/14). Had one goal and three assists against Charlotte (7/19). Scored three goals with two assists against Denver (7/26). Scored a 2-pt goal and tallied two assists against Rochester (8/2). Tallied two goals and two assists against Florida (8/9). Tallied seven hat tricks in 2014.
2012 Tewaaraton Award Winner. Became the first Colgate, Patriot League and West Coast Born player to win the Tewaaraton. Finished collegiate career as Colgate’s all-time leader in points, 225 and goals, 164. Holds the Patriot League all-time record for goals scored. Started all 15 games in 2013, leading the team in points and goals. Started all 18 games in 2012. Earned 2012 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year award and named First Team All-American. Set a career-high with 97 points and 67 goals. Played in all 16 games in 2011, leading the team in points and goals. Played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2010, setting a Colgate freshman record with 29 goals.
Personal: Son of Richard and Jill Baum. Father was a Colgate lacrosse letterman. Has one brother and one sister.
