Before being drafted by the Ohio Machine in the 2014 MLL Supplemental Draft, Bill McGlone played for six different teams. McGlone entered MLL in 2006 when he was drafted by Baltimore. As a rookie, McGlone played in 10 games and tallied 19 goals. In the two years spent at Washington, McGlone played in 18 games and totaled 27 points on 24 goals and 3 assists. For the 2008 season, McGlone played for San Francisco where he scored 16 goals and 8 assists. For the next two seasons, McGlone played for Chicago where he tallied a total of 39 points on 31 goals and 8 assists. In 2011, McGlone moved to Denver where he scored 9 goals and 8 assists in 7 games for the Outlaws. For the last two seasons, McGlone played for Boston. Although McGlone did not play in any games in 2013, in just 7 games with the Cannons in 2012 he tallied 6 goals and an assist for 7 points. Prior to playing in the MLL, McGlone played college lacrosse for the University of Maryland where he was a three-time All-American, twice named to the All-ACC team, and totaled 107 points on 77 goals and 30 assists.
