Gerry Reilly is a midfielder entering his second MLL season after the Hamilton Nationals originally drafted him in 2012, traded to the Chesapeake Bayhawks and the Charlotte Hounds. Reilly, a Georgetown graduate, played in 42 games, scored 10 goals, had four assists and totaled 81 groundballs. While playing for the Hoyas, Reilly served as his teams Co-Captain his senior season and was named to the BIG EAST second team and BIG EAST All-Academic Team. Reilly was a defensive midfielder MVP for the Hoyas after causing many turnovers in the midfield and dominating in groundballs. After graduating from Georgetown University in 2012, he was drafted by the Hamilton Nationals in the eighth round (63rd overall). Reilly saw one game with Hamilton. Reilly was traded to the Chesapeake Bayhawks then picked up by Charlotte in June 2012. While playing for Charlotte, Reilly played in seven games and contributed seventeen groundballs and one assist. Reilly played lacrosse and football at Saint Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
