2013 MLL Season:
Rodgers played the entire 60 minutes and had 10 saves of the 24 shots on goal against the Chesapeake Bayhawks (5/11) followed by playing 56:47 minutes against the Hamilton Nationals (5/23) and saved 11 of the 26 shots on goal. Rodgers saw playing time in the last home game of the season against the Charlotte Hounds (7/27) where he allowed one goal. Rodgers was named Brine Player of the Game against the Boston Cannons (8/3) with having 22 saves of the 33 shots on goal and tallied five groundballs. Rodgers saved 11 of the 25 shots on goal against the New York Lizards (8/10).
2013 MLL Stats:
Three-year MLL veteran Scott Rogers was drafted seventh overall by the Nationals in the 2010 MLL Collegiate Draft. In his rookie campaign, Rogers played in eight games and ranked second among MLL goalies with a .571 save percentage and third with a 12.26 goals-against average. Rogers followed up his rookie year by helping lead the Nationals to 2011 MLL Championship Weekend and to the finals. He was again third in MLL with an 11.46 goals-against average and fourth with a .558 save percentage. Rogers set the Nationals’ single-season saves record with 106 in 2011. Prior to joining MLL, Rogers played for the University of Notre Dame where he was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2010 NCAA Championship and was a two-time All-American. Rogers finished his 2010 senior season ranked first nationally in save percentage (.605) and third in goals-against average (7.56).
