The Ohio Machine returns home to Selby Stadium on Saturday, July 14, for the first time in three weeks for a jam packed, family fun night as part of “RadioU Night.” The Machine will take on the Hamilton Nationals for the second time in two days prior to a post-game concert by standout American rock band Abandon.
The night will not only have a post-game concert but will begin at 5:30 p.m. with pre-game speakers, including Machine players Greg Bice, Brett Hughes and life coach R.J. Lowery. This presentation will take place at Ohio Wesleyan University in the Schimmel/Conrades Science Center Room 163, and last until 6 p.m. Admission for the Faith & Sports Panel is free to the first 100 people with tickets to that night’s game.
From 5:45-6:30 p.m., Abandon will be in the Ohio Machine Fan Zone to meet and greet fans before the game. The concert is set to begin immediately after the game. Abandon was formed in San Antonio Texas and released the Abandon EP in July of 2008. In 2008, the bands single, “Providence” was ranked number seven on R&R’s Christian rock chart and in 2011 the bands song “Live it Out” was featured on the 2011 ESPY Awards show.
“RadioU Night” is sponsored by the local contemporary Christian radio station 88.7 FM RadioU. Tune in throughout the week for special Machine giveaway contests.
Tickets to “RadioU Night” are available for only $15 for fans who use the discount code RADIOU. For tickets to “RadioU Night” and the rest of the season’s home games, call the Machine at (614) 754-1973 or click here to purchase them today.
