The Ohio Machine continues to make its rounds through the greater Columbus area this weekend with appearances at “via Columbus” and 6th Annual “Taste of Grandview” but the Machine will also be at Westerville Lacrosse Club’s clinic this Sunday.
The clinic is opened to boys and girls between first and fourth grade, as well as their parents. Coaches from throughout the Westerville’s middle and high school programs will be teaching the children and their parents the fundamentals of the fastest growing sport in America.
The clinic begins on Sunday, October 2, and continues on October 9, starting at 6 p.m. at Huber Village Park in Westerville. Every child that is registered for the clinic receives a new lacrosse stick and a Westerville Lacrosse Club t-shirt. To register, email Pat Milligan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Machine will also be out at “via Columbus” on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. in the Sports Pavilion followed by “Taste of Grandview” on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m.
“via Columbus” is a three-day outdoor celebration of the vision, innovation and arts in Columbus at Genoa Park on the Scioto River. The festival showcases the culture, music, art, fashion, technology, sports and "fun" that make up the fabric of Columbus.
The 6th Annual “Taste of Grandview,” located at McKinley Field Park, features samplings from more than 20 local restaurants, along with a beer garden and live music by local talent.
